Twiglet #72

A twiglet is a short phrase. Or a word. Its aim is to “prompt” a flow. A thought. A memory. If something comes to mind, write. A polished piece isn’t the goal; creativity is. Leave a link, if you’d like your work read, but comments should not be expected. Twiglets are posted on Tuesdays.

    1. b, I loved this. Cannot find where to comment today, for some reason. Reminded me of my great-Granny, and exploring her big ol’ house and ancient furniture. I wonder if yours also had a candy jar full of rock candy from sometime before the flood? 😉

    2. That line “Where did it go,” really hit me with surprise. I’m lead down this rather sedate trail, including a marten biting its tail, and then walloped with where did your magic go. (staring at the screen ….) I wish I knew. I love poems that leave me staring at the computer screen. I don’t wish to be nah-nah-nah so early in the morning, b, but … I told you so.

    1. And hello to you, De. Your poem is Mesmerising – with a capital M.

I’m afraid I’m running dreadfully behind, mostly because the sun is finally shining, and I can’t bear to sit inside when we’ve had such a wet, cold spring. Thanks again for joining in this week.
