Twiglet #112

A twiglet is a short phrase. Or a word. Its aim is to “prompt” a flow. A thought. A memory. If something comes to mind, write. A polished piece isn’t the goal; creativity is. Leave a link, if you’d like your work read, but comments should not be expected. Twiglets are posted on Tuesdays.

    1. Walt — loved the closing Haiku, and the rolling resonance in “uneasy feeling as they’re stealing all tonal cohesion”.

  1. Resonating like locks
    of hair over her ear,

    music gently clasps a
    tuning-forked tongue,

    whispers
    “my voice is grooved

    in the key of loneliness.”
    Turn. Tumble.

    1. So much excellent writing here. “carrying a tune is no small thing” and “Its bottom vanishing into a lost reference point, like milk dripping off the kitchen table.” are so evocative and poignant.
