    I’m too human to live without love
    to decline all relationships
    to insist on my own way all the time
    to take and never give
    to ask, to insist, to petition
    yet never say thank you
    or acknowledge a no or not now
    I’m too human to be perfect
    too human to never cry
    too human not think of myself
    and too humane not to forgive
    myself and other humans.
