Twiglet #216

strong arm water

A twiglet’s aim is to “prompt” a thought. If something comes to mind, write. A polished piece isn’t the goal; creativity is. Leave a link, if you’d like your work read, but comments should not be expected.

Is this some sort of Zen display?
    Three words placed together may
or not convey a meaning, but
I’m leaning toward seeing poetry, found
    poetry, the foremost but unwritten
rule of which is that it’s up to me the poet
to stage my scavenged trophy words
in such a way that they seem meant to be.
Oracles spoke found poetry from springs
of panoply. What texts they used
is lost in the myth of time, but I opine
the whole Misk took these three words from
was meant for Mafia enforcers, and with one
most important missing syllable was this:
    DON’T strong-arm water.
