This lovely, hopeful poem should’ve cheered me up, but I see how little the world is doing to change their thinking, and I’m just deflated.

Look to and credit those who are doing things; Like the 4Ocean company (you can look them up). Those who do practice ‘Leave only footprints’ and perhaps even the simple folks who like you do their best to recycle. In our area a good portion of our trash is burned to help create our area’s electric needs.
Thankfully my hubby has been able to do some repairs on home appliances so we didn’t have to replace them – for example our electric dryer is about 30 years old.
It is unfortunate though that a good many things are ‘throw away’ or only created to last briefly. We need to remember though that we can teach by example and every generation has had ‘difficulties’.
One issue that is hard for anyone to address is population. The planet is only so big.

Always great prompts, Misky–some are more challenging than others…require me to do some purging of the soul 😉 I see my link is here, so I don’t need to add it to the comment, right?
