I’ve always liked that song. Nice twist on this week’s Twiglet, Cressida.

Augury in Civilized Times
Seven crows this morning
on the lawn, a perfect murder
if you are inclined to omens
and numerology
but only one looked at me
the others drifted further off
we stared, eye to eye,
then he hopped twice
and flew away, the others
following while I stood there
wondering
remembering
all your wicked ways.

lol, I knew it! I can see you two eye to eye and the sea gull looks away first, completely intimidated with your one eyebrow raised.
