A twiglet is a short phrase. Its aim is to “prompt” a thought. If something comes to mind, write. A polished piece isn’t the goal; creativity is. Leave a link, if you’d like your work read, but comments should not be expected.
There is never a silence.
Even when the air is still
its weight tugs a nail now
and then from a fencepost.
Is it the iron,
that infinitesimal shriek,
or the cedar?
A broken promise
can be undone
A broken heart
can mend
A broken whisper is death
and means the bitter end.
