Cool/Blue
The cat
while cool
as a turtleneck and French beret
takes flight
at the most innocuous prompts. Opening
a garbage bag. The rattle of two forks on plates.
She sleeps
unfazed
while a helicopter hovers over the house, beating
the roof with accusations, guilt out of the blue.
