if given the choice
i would choose a twist of emotion
rather that a twisted muscle in my back
which i managed to do this afternoon
i choose emotional pain over
physical pain any day
unusual maybe
then again i’m a person
who has never followed the popular notion
that everyone should be themselves
everyone should be someone else
a lot better than themselves
